Tetra Medica GeneralTonic Plus is a gernal remedy for the treatment of bacterial infections including fin rot and mouth rot, ectoparasitic diseases, dull membranes e.g. caused by Costia, freshwater Oodinium, skin and gill parasites, wounds and injuries and fungal infections. Disease symptoms: Frayed fins, whitish fin edges, whitish or greyish dull mucous membranes, clamped fins, cloudy eyes, laboured breathing, wounds, skin inflammation and reddening, cotton wool-like patches. The mode of action of Tetra Medica GeneralTonic Plus is based on an improved combination of active ingredients of various different medically proven acridin colorants, guaranteeing the treatment of a wide variety of tropical fish diseases. Tetra Medica GeneralTonic Plus kills bacterial and parasitic pathogens and reliably disinfects the aquarium water.

Dosage for Tetra Medica GeneralTonic Plus:
Shake well before use. The treatment cycle for Tetra Medica GeneralTonic Plus lasts for 8 days. During treatment, please ensure that the aquarium is well aerated. Switch off any UV clarifiers and ozone systems. Do not use activated carbon or any other absorbent filter media to filter the water. Wherever possible, please clean the filter properly before use. Always ensure that treatment is carried out whilst the tank is fully stocked to prevent any currently healthy animals from subsequently becoming infected.

Dispense Tetra Medica GeneralTonic Plus evenly into the aquarium in the following amounts: Day 1: 30 drops (1.5 ml) per 100 l of aquarium water. You are advised not to feed the fish. Day 2: 15 drops (0.75 ml) per 100 l of aquarium water. You are advised not to feed the fish. Days 3 to 6: No application. Feed as normal. Day 7: 30 drops (1.5 ml) per 100 l of aquarium water. You are advised not to feed the fish. Day 8: No application. Feed as normal. Carry out a partial water change (30-50%). After the partial water change we recommend you to use activated carbon to filter the water. If no clear improvement is seen, repeat treatment is recommended after about 2 weeks. Water discolouration is due to the active substance and will disappear after a few days.

Amount of active ingredients per 1 ml of solution:4.00 mg of ethacridine lactate monohydrate, 2.75 mg of methylthioninium chloride, 2.00 mg of acriflavinium chloride, 0.26 mg of methyl orange
